What did the Organization Need?

After a series of major acquisitions, a global retail conglomerate needed to cultivate a resilient talent pipeline by developing the next generation of ready-now successors. Two of the organization’s top concerns were increasing leadership effectiveness and uniting leaders around a common culture. In total, over 115 leaders received a focused coaching experience with a senior level AIIR consultant, leveraging AIIR’s cutting-edge coaching technology.

Our Approach

To begin, AIIR conducted a thorough analysis of the organization’s culture, business drivers, and internal trends in leadership competencies. We then developed targeted coaching programs for three segments of the leadership development cohort: SVP, VP, and Director. These programs were designed to integrate coaching into the organization’s formal learning strategy, embedding the values and macro-level competencies the organization was strategically driving.

Results Achieved

Most participants were not only satisfied with the coaching experience, but saw tangible business results manifest quickly. 90% of the participants described either meeting or exceeding their personal expectations with regard to progress made on their Strategic Development Plans. Using the industry standard approach to ROI estimation, program participants endorsed an ROI of 1,107%.  Participants also endorsed the following top coaching KPIs: Team Collaboration (81%), Staff Morale (69%), and Productivity (55%).
